With over 25 years experience across the US & Europe working with artisanal plasters, we fuse the materials & techniques of the classical masters with modern design philosophies to transform architectural spaces.
Peter Varga is a fine artist and specialized craftsman, working primarily in fine and archaic plasters on a monumental scale – on large free-standing canvases and on the surface of architectural spaces. Trained classically in Europe, he has worked with fine plasters for over twenty-five years in nearly every capacity. His technical understanding of these complex materials allows him to transform architectural spaces through bespoke finishes and artistic plaster treatments.
To put thousands of years of plaster at your fingertips, we’ve crafted a line of the most well known all-over plaster finishes for a plug-and-play design experience.
Ranging from ancient tadelakt to glossy Venetian plaster to trend forward fluted - we color match to fit any design setting. These finishes are perfect for creating an extra feeling of depth and warmth in a room, and have a range of applications from walls, to fireplaces, kitchen backsplashes, vent hoods, bathrooms, and even showers.
As leaders in the plaster industry, we are committed to offering authentic & sustainable finishes that intersect with modern design. Our years of experience allow us to offer and customize plaster solutions that are to the highest technical standards and create the most visual impact.

Completely unique to the plaster industry, Peter combines his advanced technical knowledge with his background as a fine artist and architectural designer to create fine art installations with plasters directly on the wall. His goal is to make large-scale surfaces speak in such a way that they have an architectural function, while also existing in the realm of visual art.
Peter works closely with interior designers, architects, builders, and home-owners to create immersive fine art experiences completely tailored to each unique space and design aesthetic.

Studio Peter Varga - Peter’s practice devoted to fine art - was born out of Fresco Revival in 2021. Peter Varga uses fine and archaic plasters to create large-scale freestanding art works.
The common drive behind Peter Varga’s work is twofold: to learn and constantly defy the material limitations of plaster through new and historically unprecedented applications, and to use these materials to elicit unique emotional experiences based on the viewer’s own associations and lived experiences. Peter uses the many textures, applications, and finishes of plaster to transmit esoteric stories onto a visual canvas.
Peter works out of his studio in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. He is currently showing work in LA, San Francisco, Palm Springs, Manhattan, and has shipped pieces to private art collectors and designers as far as Hawaii and Hungary.
